NeXHS, is continuously being involved in extensive research in developing new construction materials, for renewable energy sector, with a primary aim to reduce the carbon footprint. We promote the development and usage of green concrete in the renewable energy sector.
Drone Technology for Damage Detection and Quality Control
NeXHS has entered the field of damage detection and monitoring of wind turbine towers and foundations by using the drone technology. Exclusive tools for processing the drone images are being developed for quality control during the construction process and to identify the damage during the service life of the structure.
Wind Farm Optimization
NeXHS is involved in research and development of various techniques for siting wind turbines by using CFD simulations. The aim is to optimize wind farm which intends to bring about increased power output or an increased Annual Energy Production (AEP). We are involved in utilizing certain optimization algorithms to achieve enhanced AEP.
Life Extension of Wind Turbine Structures
NeXHS is involved in extensive research for increasing the life expectancy of the wind turbine tower and foundation. The fatigue life and the structural capacity of the structure is considered and suitable solutions for repowering are suggested.
Drivability Studies on Onshore and Offshore Piles
Extensive research and studies are being carried out in NeXHS on the drivability of Onshore and Offshore Piles using GRLWEAP. We have carried out a number of studies on Pile driving in both Indian soil & overseas and we have superior expertise on installing Piles for both Onshore and Offshore foundations of Renewable Energy structures.
